A New Season for a New You: Celebrate Fall and the 3rd Season of Your Life
September 22, 2018
The first day of Fall is September 22, where we will begin to experience the beautiful colors of leaves and cooler temperatures, just to name a few natural changes. How will you receive these natural changes?
This nature bathing retreat at Umstead Park is a great way to reconnect with nature and learn how Mother Earth copes with all seasonal changes. Join Co-Active Coaches Amal Essader and Trevor Timbeck to learn how to prepare for a new season in your life and what that means for your legacy. In this event, you will learn how to:
- Leave the busyness of your life and focus on what matters to you most
- Slow your breathing to connect your mind with your body
- Slow your walking to notice the smaller things in nature
- Reflect on your new learning and connect with Mother Earth
You will walk away with a renewed perspective on your endless capacity for change and growth by writing your own legacy.
We’d love for you to come with a companion, if you choose to do so; however, your electronic devices are not considered a companion!
Dress for comfort. We will have the event independent of the weather; we have a shelter just in case.
Please meet us at Shelter #1 (Crabtree Entrance).
Review after the event
What did the Participants Say about it?
We met almost two months ago on September 22nd for the event, “A New Season for a New You: Celebrate Fall and the 3rd Season of Your Life”. I still remember everything…our group, discussions, activities, emotions, and learned lessons. It was the best retreat I have ever attended. Our group was phenomenal and genuine. We met as strangers and left hugging each other. After your event, I made changes to my life. I spend more time outside appreciating nature and correlating how our environment can teach us how to relate to others. The trees are like people. We all are different and have learned to coexist. The real test is coexisting in harmony, being patient towards others, compromising as needed, and most importantly I need to take care of myself. As a parent, I am passing these learned lessons forward to my children. Amal and Trevor, thank you for making such a drastic change in my life with this event!

I wasn’t sure what to expect upon arriving for the workshop but was pleasantly surprised by how meaningful it was for me to be able to hear the stories of others and realize many of us share similar questions/struggles/joys.

I’m so delighted that I got to meet some amazing people, and that I learned so many things for myself. I could have simply journaled about the topic of the 3rd season of life and what legacy means to me – but there is so much magic and wisdom that comes from interacting in a group.

I’d like to thank both of you for an enlightening event. I had an amazing time. This event has opened up feelings, thoughts that were buried in my mind and in my heart.

I’m very grateful for the time we spent together. It truly was an amazing experience for me as I had never participated in a workshop like that. I especially loved that you guys sent us words beforehand and we got to express their meaning to us. The surprise factor brought spontaneity and prevented me from overthinking and truly speaking my genuine emotions at the moment.

I think the space you all created was spectacular. I crave authentic connect and I got a good dose in the space you all manifested. Thank you! I need that:)
